Russian Women and Fitness

Have you ever wondered why Russian women are always so slender and trim? How do their bodies always look chiseled? Why do they all look like they just left a modeling gig? When it comes to health, Russian women and fitness go hand in hand.

Exercise

Spending time in the gym is typically a part of their routine. Because they incorporate conditioning into their daily lifestyle, Russian women are able to maintain a flattering physique. When the body is in a constant state of training and conditioning, it sustains muscle longer.

Oftentimes, Russian women (like other women) will use exercise to deal with stress in their lives. Ekaterina Usmanova, Russia’s Champion Fitness Model, married a personal trainer in 2010. However, they got a divorce and she started training even more to relieve her frustration and distress. Exercise is, in fact, a very healthy outlet for handling the stressors of life.

However, working out is not the only part of their fitness regimen. Paying attention to what is being consumed also plays a large role in why Russian women and fitness interlink.

Nutrition

Choosing what you eat is just as important as working out. Oftentimes, doing a vigorous workout and eating a burger afterwards will undo all of your hard work. Russian women are careful not to fall into this trap. Instead of frying their food, they will choose to boil or bake. Making stew is often a popular choice as well because they like vegetables. It is common for Russian women to have a home garden or a country house where they grow their fruits and vegetables.

“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” Adelle Davis

The idea behind this quote is to make breakfast the most important and largest meal of your day. Porridge is typically eaten for Russian women for breakfast because it slowly releases energy into their body. This helps them maintain energy throughout the day without having spikes or crashes.
